Do you ever feel like you’ve built a house of cards?

Take a moment and really look at the picture.

What do you notice?

Most people first notice the lighthouse.

But look closer.

What is it built upon?

The lighthouse didn’t appear overnight. It stands upon countless stones, each one carefully placed.

What if you’ve been so focused on the house of cards that you’ve overlooked the lighthouse that’s already being built?

What if you keep forgetting all the victories that have become scattered memories throughout your life?

The storms you survived.

The prayers that were answered.

The people who believed in you.

The lessons you learned.

The strength you discovered.

What if those aren’t just memories?

What if they’re stones waiting to be gathered together?

Instead of continually building with hay, stubble, and wood…

or trying to perform a magic trick with a deck of cards…

what if you began building with the evidence that you’ve already overcome more than you realize?
